The Main Street is a “box like” house plan design. This plan is fashioned after the row of houses seen in urban streets of industrial cities in the1930’s. At that time, these style houses were primarily occupied by blue collar households. The architecture of this residential form has had a recent renewed interest to be preserved and repaired, as well as expanded as a choice for urban residents of today.
