The Wilton model plan is a colonial style home designed for today’s lifestyle in a suburban setting. It is named after the Wilton House near Richmond, Virginia, and built in the mid 1700s for William Randolph III on a 2,000 acre plantation property. Among the famous guests of the original Randolph home were George Washington, Patrick Henry, and Thomas Jefferson.
