The Savannah Duplex is a coastal duplex that was designed and built on Atlantic Avenue in Virginia Beach, VA. This coastal duplex condo presented some unique design challenges! The design needed to minimize the noise exposure of a busy roadway so no bedrooms were placed on the west side of the structure. In addition, this layout allows access to each unit with privacy from it's neighbor without interfering with the spacious interior living area. Also, this design provides a ground level, private, outdoor living space for each owner. Details and simple constructability were also important considerations. This project was designed for a contractor to market on speculation.
