I am the Quilts of Valor coordinator for Tidewater Quilters’ Guild. The goal of QOV, which is supported by our Guild, is to provide quilts to honor and comfort our military whose lives have been touched by war. I would like to get in touch with someone from Cedar Grove management to discuss how our Guild might work with you to honor our veterans who will be residing there. I realize the apartments will not be ready for residents until sometime next year. Just as construction takes time, quilts also take time to create. If there is a possibility of providing quilts to cover the beds at Cedar Grove, please contact me as soon as possible so that we can get started.
