Blue Tacoma is a family-oriented home with a large open loft on the second floor that is an ideal gathering space for children occupying nearby upstairs bedrooms.  There is plenty of living space on the first floor including a generous master suite, a large kitchen, and a mudroom.   This house plan could be built on a small urban lot in an existing community.  In a rural setting, Blue Tacoma would be a restful home, and it is easy to imagine relaxing on its front porch.   The name for this model house plan is inspired by the song Blue Tacoma by Russell Dickerson.  He is reported to have said, "It’s (like) that feel of being together,” a perfect expression for the experience of living in this house.
